Guitar Lessons

Maria has been teaching private guitar, electric bass, snare, and drums instruction for over 20 years. She has studied with some of the best instructors in the country, including David Cullen (Windom Hill), Marcia Englar (Peabody Conservatory), Frank Romeo (Manhattan School of Music), and Michael Manring for electric bass. Maria was the winner of the 2002, 2003, 2005, and 2010 Finger-style Guitar Scholarship at Duquesne University Guitar and Bass Workshop, sponsored by Martin Guitar, Fender, and The Guitar Society of Fine Arts. Maria is also a graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College with a Music Marketing Degree.

Maria teaches Mondays, Wednesday, and Thursday her home studio and the perfect 5th Musical Arts Center in Mechanicsburg, PA on Wednesday and Saturdays. She also teaches at the State Street Academy and Harrisburg Academy on Tuesdays. 

In addition, she teaches guitar clinics and rock music clinics for several recreation facilities in Central PA.

On weekends, Maria performs featuring the music from the six albums she has recorded and also in her guitar and violin duo, The Guitar-Violin Project.

The cost of the lessons is $120 per month for 4 half hour lessons. If there are five weeks in a month we will not meet the fifth week. If you need to cancel a lesson you must give 24 hours notice or you will forfeit the lesson otherwise lessons will be made up based upon availability.

Maria is also available for lessons at the Perfect Fifth in Mechanicsburg, Pa on Wednesdays and Saturdays and State Street Academy of Music in Downtown Harrisburg Pa on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
